Build • Bond • BelongThe Penticton Men’s Shed Association is a not-for-profit organization founded in 2024. We provide a warm, welcoming gathering place where men can meet, chat, share stories, and
build lasting friendships in a relaxed, pressure-free environment.
We also offer the limited use of a well-equipped workshop. Here, men can choose – if they wish – to work on meaningful projects at their own pace. Whether building, repairing, restoring, or creating, many of these projects help support local organizations and neighbours in need. Participation is always completely optional; some members come purely for the conversation and camaraderie.
Inspired by the successful Australian Men’s Shed movement, we follow a simple but powerful idea: improving men’s physical and mental wellbeing through enjoyable, hands-on activities and friendship. With over 3,300 sheds now operating across 15 countries (and 65 in British Columbia alone), we’re proud to bring this proven model to Penticton — a safe and friendly space where men can stay connected, avoid isolation, learn or teach new skills, and continue giving back to the
community.
We are open to all men, regardless of age, background, or ability. New members are always welcome!
